Fact-Checking Policy
A grill protects a home for twenty years or more, so a wrong detail is costly to undo. This is how Home Grill Design checks what it publishes.
What we check
- Materials and sizes. Bar, flat and pipe sizes match sections commonly stocked by steel traders in India.
- Safety guidance. Bar gaps and railing heights follow widely used practice and building guidance. Local rules can differ, so we ask readers to confirm with their architect or municipal office.
- Rust and paint. Primer and repaint advice reflects common site practice, with extra care noted for coastal areas.
- Terms. We use the names fabricators actually use, including Hindi words like jangla and roshandan, so you can repeat them at the workshop.
What we leave out
- Prices and per kilo rates, which change with steel markets and cities.
- Brand names of steel, paint or hardware.
- Structural design for heavy loads. For those, consult a structural engineer.
